Gen. Benjamin O. Davis Aviation
and Maritime High School

Drew Ferguson, President - PHASTAR Corporation

Davis Aviation & Maritime AcademySince 1988, the Aviation High School building—visibly vacant on the grounds of Burke Lakefront Airport, has served as a daily reminder to tens of thousands of commuters of the failed aspirations of a previous Cleveland Metropolitan School District administration.

In 2012, led by Drew Ferguson, a licensed commercial pilot, PHASTAR Corporation has spearheaded a campaign to reopen the school on Its former site. Building upon the powerful legacy of General Benjamin 0. Davls, Jr., and the Tuskegee Airmen, PHASTAR, a private, non-profit organization, has taken tremendous steps and now is on schedule for a September 2017 opening of this new conceptual school.
